Meet our Coordinators
Extracurricular Sports, Clubs and Activities
Learning First Charter offers a wide range of Extracurricular Sports, Clubs and Activities. This programming allows our students to expand their learning outside of the classroom, get hands-on experience, and grow as individuals. We aim to provide a balance of both academic and leisure based activities to support the development of the whole student.
After school clubs and activities are offered on a trimester basis. Updated schedules and registration details are sent out each trimester.

Kerby Mathieu
Assistant Dean of Students & Afterschool Coordinator
7/8th Grade Boys Basketball Coach
Hi there!
I’m Mr. Kerby, the Assistant Dean of Students at Learning First. I get to help make sure everyone is doing their best while having a great time at school!
I’m also the 7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball Coach and the After School Coordinator, so you might see me running around on the court or helping with fun activities after school.
When I’m not at school, I love riding my motorcycle and going fishing whenever I can. I’m also a dad to a 7th grader here at school, so I understand how important it is to balance fun and schoolwork.
Looking forward to seeing you around.

Maritza Bryan
Dean of Family and Community Engagement
Hello!
I’m Mrs. Bryan, and I’ve been proud to call Learning First Charter Public School my home since August 2003. As the Dean of Family and Community Engagement, I get to work with all the wonderful families and community members to make sure we stay connected and grow together like one big school family!
When I’m not busy at school, I love diving into Theology classes to keep learning new things, and of course, spending time with my family.
I’m always excited to meet new people, so don’t hesitate to say hi when you see me around!
