Volunteering & Family Involvement
Volunteer at Learning First!
Learning First Charter believes that a strong link between home and school is essential for student success. Parents can contribute to the school in a number of ways:
- presenting in classrooms about a job or area of interest
- chaperoning field trips
- reading to children
- having lunch with classes
- helping at recess
- updating bulletin boards, etc.
- The possibilities are endless!
Parent Teacher Organization:
One great way to get involved and strengthen this connection is by joining the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). The PTO welcomes all caregivers who would like to contribute and grow the LFCPS community to join our PTO! Our PTO runs several successful fundraisers and events including Field Day and Staff Appreciation. The PTO has several long term projects on the horizon that we would love your input on. By joining, you can make a meaningful impact on your child’s education and help create a more enriching school experience for all students.Families can participate in meetings in person or online. Meeting times rotate to be inclusive of all schedules.
Please reach out to Ms. Bryan [email protected] if you are interested in learning more or joining.
